Our mountain and safari guides have undergone intensive training to receive their respective licenses. They have years of experience and have successfully guided 98% of our climbers to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Their training and experience will keep you safe while on the mountain and on safari.

In addition to ensuring the fair and ethical treatment of our mountain crews it is also important for us to ensure that the experiences offered through Local Moshi Adventures are sustainable and benefit the local community while not impacting the environment.

Customized Private Climbs 

 

We offer private Kilimanjaro climbs and Safaris for every budget. The choice of lodging includes camping, backpackers, budget, mid-range or 4 star), as well as the flexibility to select the exact travel dates.

Being on a private climb or safari the itinerary is guaranteed and last minute changes can be accommodated.

Guest Care

We are aware visiting Tanzania to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro or going on safari is a trip of a lifetime for most guests. As such we take our responsibility of arranging private itineraries very serious and pay great attention to details when it comes to guest care and itineraries. Our team members have received customer service training to cater to the individual needs of our guests.

Dietary Requirements

While on the mountain our cooks will be happy to accommodate dietary needs or preferences.

Porter Care

​

We believe the hard work of the porters working on Mount Kilimanjaro is the lifeblood of tour operators providing Kilimanjaro climbs. 

Therefore Local Moshi Adventures is a proud member of KPAP (Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project), as well as KRTO (Kilimanjaro Responsible Trekking Organization), which are independent organizations ensuring the fair and ethical treatment of porters on Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Every trek of ours is accompanied and monitored by a 'KPAP' & 'KRTO' member to ensure the fair and ethical treatment standards set by KPAP and KRTO for Kilimanjaro porters are met on our climbs.
